Performance optimization for big compositions

Hi,

On big compositions copy/paste/move/add clips take a lot of time.
My composition ~100 layers and 20+ columns, and adding clip take from 1 to 3 seconds (depending how much columns I have). Both on mac pro 2013 and windows 11 (with enough amount of ram 32+ gb).
I think it's problem of undo/redo feature, but not sure.

How are you using those 100 layers?

100 columns & 20 layers make same effect.

It's collection of videos, I can play one of them at any moment. Or I can make sequence from this clips on free layer.



Sometimes composition can contain 200+ columns and 100+ layers.
