Layers and timecode vs Performance

Post by masterpj55 »

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all doing well.
I had a question regarding resolume video playback and a single timecode track:

Resolume only allows a video from a column loaded in a layer to start tracking timecode..
I want to not having to click or interfere with video timecode playback so I'd be using up to 12 layers each with a DXV3 video loaded to auto switch video.

Is there a huge performance impact for using 12 layers even though only 1 video actually plays?
If yes: Is there a more performant way to do this?
