Play Random Clip and transitions

Hi. So I'm using midi to select a black clip (with scale at 0%) with its autopilot to Play Random Clip. (Just want to play random clips that are all set to Bounce and Continue). Problem is transitions fade to black and then fade in from black.

Is there a workaround that would enable this deck to play random clips but get actual transitions?

I know this is probably not what you want but the only way I see that you can do this(sort off). Assign the layer/autopilot/play random button to a midi button in piano mode. And when you're done with the clip that's playing, hold that midi button until the new one comes in. This will work, but it will only jump after the first the clip is at the end. So it won't jumped immediately.

I appreciate the creative thinking but yes, I want clips to change when desired, not when they finish naturally.

Also, autopilot random is just a toggle, isn't it? Does it do something different when being held? I just tried with a mouse and I don't see anything different going on.

Edit: I guess if there is no solution, I'm going to put in a feature request for a Layer Play Random Clip button or maybe a toggle that will allow for the Play Next Clip and Play Previous Clip buttons in transport controls to be Play Random Clip buttons
