Unable to open Resolume (macOS Sonoma 14.1.1)

Hi i'm unable to open Resolume Avenue, when I open the application it just says Application Not Responding. I've tried to reinstall the program multiple times but to no avail. Please help me I have a VJ gig in 2 days and really need to practice.

We're looking into an issue where trying to open many mp4 files on Monterey and later, the OS file readers slow down a lot, to the point where Resolume can appear frozen.
Are you using lots of Mp4 files?
Try renaming the last composition Resolume wants to open on startup, that should at least allow Resolume to start.

Lots of DXV files seem to work fine, so I'd recommend converting mp4 to DXV.
