Hi!
I have an Arduino Pro Micro based midi interface that freezes Arena 6.1.3, Win 7.
I won´t even let Arena finish startup: it stops half way with the interface connected to the usb port, and continues when I disconnect the interface...so strange!
The interface works flawlessly with vvvv, puredata, etc.
¿any clue whats going on?
Thanks in advance
Salud!

Arduino Pro Micro midi device little problem
Re: Arduino Pro Micro midi device little problem
Looks like the Arduino driver and Resolume are not compatible on windows.
Try creating a virtual midi device with https://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html.
Then in midiOX http://www.midiox.com/, create a patch from the Arduino midi device to the loop midi device.
Try to use the virtual midi device now in Resolume instead of the Arduino directly.

Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch

Re: Arduino Pro Micro midi device little problem
hi,
i'm a little late to the game, but this problem is still around.
Using the virtual midi device is a nice work around, but still, its weird that resolume crashes with the arduino micro.
on mac, everything runs smootly.

Re: Arduino Pro Micro midi device little problem
Old topic, but I have the same problen with Windows 11. Remolume 7.7.0 freezes when Pro Micro usb midi decive is plugged in. Thus can't go around the issue with virtual midi.
Any other ideas?
Edit:
I took Pro Micro midi input away from the text preference file. Now resolume doesn't crash as long as I don't set Pro Micro as midi input. Now I can go forward with the virtual midi route. I'll let you know how it goes.
Edit2: got it working with loopmidi + midiOX. Thanks!
