Composition Beat Snap would only affect the triggering if the Beat Snap of clips is set to [Composition Determined] which in this case would have to be set for all clips in the comp.

Asperi, if that's your problem you would see a green timeline on each clip as they are triggering. So if that's your problem, select all clips in your deck and reset the Beat Snap to [None].

If that is the problem, it's better to set all clips to Comp Determined, and turn off the Beat Snap in the Comp menu. Otherwise you'll have the problem every time you import new content, because Comp Determined is the default import setting.
