Joris,
maybe you could add a Price (date) info to the form (regarding the whole configuration)
so a Price/Layers could be calculated?

Re: Performance Benchmarks
[spreadsheet discussion moved to separate thread]
I've added a price and purchase date question.
The HTML embedding thing looks great. Unfortunately my spreadsheet and HTML skills are lacking to the point of being non-existent. I also just saw new entries on the sheet don't get formatted or sorted correctly.
I'm happy to give write access to anyone who fancies having a go at it.

Joris, I'd be happy to have a go at it so why don't you share it with my oaktown email address?Joris wrote:I'm happy to give write access to anyone who fancies having a go at it.

I've just done a quick test. Rather than publishing HTML to the web the try sharing a sheet as "View Only" to anyone with a link. This allows anonymous users to add their own temporary sorting and filtering which are lost when the browser window is closed and the data cannot be edited.

That's some powerful spreadsheet-fu, Sadler. Thanks, I've updated the link.
Oaktown, thanks so much for helping out. You've got mail.

Just as Sadler mentioned, all you have to do is share the following link instead of the published version: Google Spreadsheet Then anyone with the link can sort the spreadsheet however they want without changing the original.
I created a named range [Data_Set] which encompasses the whole spreadsheet (Form Responses) so now all one has to do is click on Data>Named Range and select [Data_Set] on the right side of the screen which will select the range. Then go back to Data and select Sort Range which will default to sorting by [Computer Model] A->Z but any parameter can be selected and sorted A->Z or Z->A. Then one can add subsequent column sorts to further refine the results.
So for instance if you pick Operating System first and then Benchmark 1080p the data set will be sorted by OS first and then by Benchmark 1080p:
Joris, I also pampered the online form a bit and added a few 4K resolutions (4:3, 16:10 & 16:9 format) so that we can be ready for the future: Online Form
That should do it for now!
