Store blend modes by clip/column

I agree, clip should be able to trigger blend modes in the layers. Otherwise you just need too much layers. Maybe it's possible through external commands.

The OP in the thread has a point and it would be nice. I lol'ed when I saw this was talked about in 2009. Maybe we'll see it in 2025.
