Thanks Joris. I haven't yet been able to find an external video card for Mac that would work. The DualHead2Go Digital ME only creates one big display stretched over the 2 outputs, so this wouldn't work, as I want one output to be my primary display, where I can view Resolume running as well as Traktor, and the second display (the projector) for the output of Resolume.

I don't have the budget for a Retina Macbook Pro at the moment, hence my question about a Mac Mini with one HDMI output and one thunderbolt/displayport. As I only want to use one projector for the output of Resolume, the blend issue that Oaktown mentions wouldn't apply to me, so maybe this is the way to go?

it can use the external GPU when you put the Arena's UI onto the display connected to eGPU.
If you put the UI on MBP's display, you can still get more outputs but they are using the original GPU in MBP...
