I used the Manifest file in the beginning for Adobe softs (even Adobe updated their programs a while ago, so no need any more). In any case its just a Windows setting, not a hack.
It didn't work with Resolume for me as it interferes with the output settings.

Speaking of manifest files, this might be an interesting read and potential tweak: http://winaero.com/blog/how-to-fix-apps ... -displays/

switchresx is a handy little tool that's helped me out of many binds (studio and live performance)

You do realize rewriting a render engine for the current version of software might not be feasible for a small team of people that also do shows? Adobe and these other companies have dedicated development teams/marketing/support teams so they can focus more time on 1 aspect.
Maybe, just maybe, the time spent on new features for the current version would be to much code rewrite and disrupt how much of the other program works, which is why it's pushed to 6.0

The SIMPLE fix:
Right-click on the shortcut to your application that has blurry fonts, then select 'Properties'. Then tab 'Compatibility'. Then enable 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' and hit 'Apply'. then restart your application, and you see it will look good.

I don't know if this affects output yet, but I can read the UI.

Took the time to register just for this! Awesome solution, worked for me.
Check out the instructions in the link. The .manifest files are at the end of the page (photoshop.exe.manifest and so on). You can just take any of these - the code is identical, copy them to your arena folder with the arena.exe in it and rename to arena.exe.manifest ! Worked instantly for me, finally I can actually see whats going on.
Problem in the 4k Dell xps 15 display - this should be fixed soon

Re: Resolume UI on UHD Resolution Monitor need magnification
Have you tried it in conjunction with various outputs, varying output resolutions?
When I tried several years ago (Its been such a long time and this is still unresolved ..! ) it
didn't work for me. Resolume showing weird (and wrong) resolutions for the outputs.
