I didn't have after burner installed on mine. Was that something you did post purchase?

The Optimus bug is where you have to go into Nvidia control panel and change the scaling options from no scaling to full screen back to no scaling after you start resolume in order to get any output at all. RS2 fixed this thankfully.

Oh yeah, I had this godamnit bug and I have noticed I didn't have anymore after it worked. And yes, I had installed afterburner because I was having some issues with my graphics card and I wanted to check if everything was ok using afterburner, I used it just as a monitoring software than for overclock itself, I personally don't think this machine needs it. It's pretty hard to find someone using the Razer Blade with Resolume, you were the first one, so, let me ask you one thing, can you push 2 outputs using a dongle with HDMI on the USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 port? I mean, using the HDMI output from the blade and the HDMI output from the dongle.

Gotcha. I prefer HWinfo for all my monitoring.

I obviously use the HDMI, But for more pixel space I use a Triple head on that HDMI and I have a StarTech TB3 to HDMI adapter I use a Triple Head on as well. You'll need a HDMI 2.0 cable and a HDMI to Dual Link DVI cable's.

Sadly, The Razers only support 1 out of the 2 ouput ports on the TB3 adapters. I think that is complete crap but it is what it is. Maybe this will be addressed in the new Razers that are droping in the next month or two? (as well as a 2TB SSD option as well??)

I have my eye on an AJA IO 4k : https://www.aja.com/products/io-4k
as a way to to skip all the triple head adapters. It's a bit pricey but has 4 bi-directional 3G-SDI in/outs. :o

Besides All of that, I couldn't be happier with the Razer!

Sure thing. It'll have to be tomorrow. I'm currently driving.

Also, on a side note:
Not sure if anyone else is a systems tech or not. But the latest windows 10 update does not play well with novastar. Be prepared to have an older version of windows on a different machine if you plan to use novastar after the update.
I'm currently working with them for a fix

Thank you for informing me, I am a LED Tech and I use Novastar a lot, that's concerning.

I just got a new blade. The one with the GTX 1060.

I ran into the issue where my laptop screen wouldnt turn on. It would only output to external display via HDMI. After endless tries I ended up giving it back to Amazon and getting a new one. This one works fine so far. Im going to try and install the creators update to fix the black screen output.

But I just wanted to chime in saying that I've managed to get two outputs from my blade using HDMI and a cable matters USB C to DVI.

You think its the converter thats letting this happen? I remember reading somewhere that it works with certain converters.

I have a similar converter. I've managed to get 2 output as well. My converter has 2 HDMI to a single TB3 port, Razer is working on a TB3 Firmware update to allow the second HDMI port to be used atm.

No I meant, I can get two outs using the HDMI port and USB C port with a USB C to DVI adapter.
