I think the layer scroll buttons should be more responsive, and when you hold them the should scroll the deck list speeding up, so you don't need to click much.
Holding a button can reduce clicks, but is a way to SLOW things down. Multiple behaviours are just the worst when you need to shortcut, straight up and fast, click and page change, voilá!

moar modular panels , so those who need could have their decks listed in a box and drag it where they want it in the layout ?

How about a combobox with the decks, as an alternative?

Combobox is even more complicated to me, and SLOW (is almost the same that pick up a deck from compositions panel, aside the modification-save thing).
I don't want to type or check a list to pick one tab (usually named 01..36, misc13,various24..).
I just want a click and see the next 30 tabs, or the number of tabs that fill the screen according to his name size.

I totally feel you guys that working with more decks than fit on screen is a pain in the ass right now.

I'm not sure I completely understand the difference between having a list, and having tabs side by side. What is the difference in information that's being conveyed? Is it the visual memory of what deck goes where?

Hi everyone. I had started a new topic on this. Sorry, my bad.

Lots of clicks are annoying me indeed. I really need to scroll fast thru decks sometimes.

There are buttons on both sides of the decks' bar. If having multiple functions to a single button is not good, why not just set buttons at left to work on click based, while buttons on the right to have a continuous fast shift/scroll. We could also have a field setting where the user could set a desired speed varying from 1 to 5, for instance, where 1 is the slowest and 5 the fastest.
I'd love to have that assigned to a midi knob to scroll thru decks.

Hello,
I'd like to know if there's anything related to this already on the road for an upcoming upgrade.
Thanks
