Yep! I find 1.5 performs better, in fact It's still my tool of choice for recording and live performance.

My advice is don't ignore either bottleneck (CPU or Drive) as the slowest one will determine your performance.

Plus, much of my stuff is still in 320* and really I doubt the punters notice...

Bring on the GPU, that will turn Resolume into a killer - Pilgrim flies with god knows how many layers, although I have no interest in using that program.
