RiverPast VideoCleaner is quite good, and it reads .MOV and .MP4, which VirtualDub does not.

Depending on what you want to do, the Lite version at $19.95 might be enough.

this version should rather be beta..

i can't believe, you sell such unstable software..

why not make resolume just open source, so other people can turn the good idea into really good software??

resolume 2.3 has been more stable for me then 2.0 and 2.1 was, 2.2 was about the same as 2.3 is. obviously because only bart and edwin make resolume they cannot test it on every configuration of hadware and OS's and etc... they would not release a version if it didnt work on there test machines.

in regards to open source... bart and edwin make a living from this software, which alot of people find useful, if it was open sourced, tehy wouldnt be able to code for resolume as full time as they do now, and i dont think there would be alot of intrest from other coders, look at opentzt, its a good VJing program which was open sourced, but its still very buggy.

"open source" ... the GREAT answer... it fixes EVERYTHING... it ends world hunger and cures Cancer. Dearest Orjo, Maybe you should run your next gig "Open Source" give out keyboards and mice to everyone and let them VJ Open Source style from your computer. IT just isn't the answer for everything.
peace!

We have just released Resolume version 2.3! We fixed a lot of bugs but also added features to make your live as a VJ a lot easier. You probably got bored with doing the screensetup everytime you got ready for a gig. Well so did we so now Resolume remembers the last applied screensetup so when you start Resolume it will try to load the last used screensetup. And you probably also got sick of first having to loads some decks to get started. So did we so we added an option so you can assign what decks to load on startup.

We are not only here to make your life easier but also to make your visuals look better, fresher, more cutting edge, like stuff that you have never seen before. For this we invented the Feedback Source plugin. With this plugin you can apply feedback effects to your footage (which is really cool) but it can also be used to synthesize abstract motion graphics without the use of any pre-made footage! Checkout a video that we made and a tutorial to get the most out of this exciting new feature.

Now if this does not impress you our new SOURCE footage DVD.ROMs will! Bundled with The Resolume 2.3 installer you,ll find some samples from each DVD so you can get a taste of all the footage we have availale on DVD.ROM.

Also included in this 2.3 release is one FreeFrame plugin (Rect Fields) from Dave Green: http://www.inside-us-all.com But that's not all. http://www.VJFX.com generously donated 1 FreeFrame effect: IscFastBlur and 3 FreeFrame transitions: IscfCubeH1, IscfCubeV1, and IscfSheet.
