Done a bit of testing now and the omega drivers for the radeon 9x00 series are definantly doing a lot better. No more crashes with a white and colored output screen (video card crash i'm told?). Also I am able to go to higher resolutions with not too much lag. Find them here http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati.php ..
