Hi All,
resolume 3.0 will certainly gonna use the GPU, to wich extent we don't know yet.
But there are a lot of possibilities with the pixels shaders so a lot of effects and even blendmodes are now fairly easy to create. And yes bringing back the pixels from the videocardmemory to systemmemory has become much faster now with PCIX. So putting freeframe fx on a the final render has become fairly easy and fast (well fast enough).

great, but, you MUST keep the software mode as an option.

For example I have my 3.0 ghz, 1gig of ram barebone, and i am perfectly satisfied, so why switch to something bigger just for pcix, although, in sli mode you can use 4 outputs :)
