Just a follow up since I've tested intensily the bird dog play and the zowietek

set up
ledwall with sending card 1920x1080, rgblink as switch, it seems that the play cannot read the alpha since if don't disable it from the advanced output if you change the opacity it only have 2 levels of brightness (of course you could do it from the sending, but sometimes, especially during day to night show, I do it with resolume :-) and i didn't manage to changing the frame rate of the birddog so it always outputting at 60fps.

the zowietek didn't have this problem and I like it for the integrated lcd display and it's more versatile.

My thoughts is that if you have to run and manage multiple feeds, the birddog is more comfy because you have more software to manage all the receivers and ndi streaming. (10 feed monitor and the fact you can select the source from the remote control is sometimes lifesaving :-))

For now I've tested them in a controlled environment like clubs and conventions center, this summer we will try out at the beanch with sand and 40 degrees (celcius) and I hope to remember to report back.

The zowietek is always in my bag because you never know, the birdog requires a more structured plan to get the most of it.
