if you need a low-profile card for just playing video, try a nvidia vanta.
I have one in my work PC (not used for visuals), it seems to play back video OK.

Thanks, I was going to get the Vanta as my primary (pci low-profile), so I'll pick this up before the mx440 for a test run (if it plays fine I can use this with the onboard savage8 vga). Thanks for all the EtherWarp!
