The bcf will give same results as any other midi controler when it comes to scratching video in resolume, the sinc problem is the way resolume works for now, but once you get the hang of it you can do some prety amzaing stuff.

the bcf is nice for its layout of knobs fader and keys, nice spacey and fuly editable.

The usb editng softwere can be downloaded from their site, its damm usefull.

i'm thinking about buying behringer bcr or bcf midi controler but i don't know wich one is best.
BCR has plenty knobs.
BCF looks like to be more acurate but less contols.
Wich one would you choose?
let me know...

Hey "Anonymous"
(Registering is free ya know... and ya get cool hearts under your name)

I have and love both. IF I had to choose just one, I would choose the BCF2000.
You have enough control to maniuplate "Active effects" with the rotary and fader encoders; plus faders are alway easier to mix with than knobs IMHO.

If you REALLY want lots of knobs and faders in the same unit then the UC-33 is for you.
trade off is not alot of buttons.

One benefit of the BCF2000 is layout... well spaced out in different "zones" so that on the fly it is easy to grab the right controls.

Hope that helps

the first step is to update your bcf2000 with current firmware.

the directions are pretty straight forward:

http://www.behringer.com/05_support/bc_ ... m?lang=ENG

then download the FREE B-CONTROL EDIT software.
(see pic)
it is very easy to use an program your bcf2000 just the way you want it.
I'm not to midi-savy, but I found that the software and the manual walked me through the setup just fine.

hey behringer users... I'm also doubting betwen uc33 and bcr2000...

just a question... the BCR knobs are endless... as far as I know... for me this is a problem cause to control video parameters I would prefer not endless... why? because if they are not endless, you can go from 0 to 127 just turning once... but if they are endless you nedd to turn the knob 3 o more times to go from 0 to 127... i. e. if I asign a knob to a fader I have to turn 3 times to go from 0% opacity to 100% opacity... is it real? I mean.. I tried some midi machine and it was like this, but I don't know... can anyone tell me if you can program the BCR knobs to go from 0 to 127 just turning once... so you have all the values with one movement of your hand... turn to right 0 turn to left 127...Did I xplain my self?

zanks a lot people.. I wanna buy a BCR but this is my only problem...

Not nearly enough bells and whistles for me though!
