Relocating clips

Can you send us your comp file and the complete path of the location of the clips?

What are the original file paths, and the new file paths?

Clips on external drives, comps either on those drives or in "my doc/res4" (pc). I went to another comp, resaved it, brought it back and it worked. But it has happened again trying to bring a comp to the pc I had resaved in, now that one cannot relocate load the locate clip dialog.. Is there a proper formula? I use the "relocate/ fix all" a ton.

I'm very sorry, but I'm assuming something must be going wrong with the exact naming of the paths. Perhaps there is a combination of variables that we haven't considered.

So I'm afraid 'on external drives' doesn't really help with trying to narrow this down.
