this is happening to me too. started a new composition and the button lights work then after a few seconds they stop

You know this thread is over a decade old and was referencing Arena 4, and we're now on 7.
It looks like the apc40 is just playing around with lights until an application actually grabs the hardware and makes a handshake to take over the led feedback control. Did you program your controller in Arena 7 to have certain elements give led feedback?

I didnt do anything Iv just used it. I pugged it in and it worked for a few months and then the lights started doing that
