Kaizen:
Currently Resolume is 32bit meaning it only uses 4GB. I always tell people to plan for the future when building/buying a new machine. Most applications won't touch 16GB of ram, I think the highest I've hit was 12GB when doing a large festival render in Vectorworks....

I was looking into the MSI until I stumbled upon these beauties:

http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-systems/razer-blade-pro

Both would be a remarkable step up from the current MBP and at the same price (razorblade pro) or cheaper (razorblade)

IPS all the way for design, not the best for gaming though. I'm getting a Blade pro and one of these monitors for my AE and C4D setup:

i have one "lagging" problem playing clips from D:\ (RAID0 Harddrive) video lags ~every 10-20 seconds. if i play clips from C:\ it's super smoothly and no lag. there seems to be something with the raid settings? anyone experience the same problem?

My computer just has a C: drive.
I know the razers had a small problem with their Raid controller in the Blade Pro's but I'm not sure how the MSI's are handling their raid controllers?
