I spoke too soon. It's gone slow again. I hate Resolume.
Re: Slow reaction from controller?
You are the first person I hear to hate Resolume... What version of Resolume do You have? And what specs in your system?vincentoliver wrote:I spoke too soon. It's gone slow again. I hate Resolume.
Re: Slow reaction from controller?
vincentoliver, can you list the CCs/CHs you are using now?

Re: Slow reaction from controller?
Hello
I was being flippant and joking a bit in my last post. I'm generally really impressed but there are areas that I felt held me back. I did my first gig using Resolume last night and it was a disaster for me. Mostly because of the controller problem but also that it's extremely difficult to do things manually when your controller stops working. On a 13" screen, I could really do with some flexibility over how things are laid out.
@vj granda: My machine is a 13" Macbook Pro 8,1 with 10GB ram and a 7200rpm hard disk. The Resolume version is Arena 4.
@gbravetti I literally tried every MIDI channel and most of the controller numbers (on a nanokontrol 2). I made sure I avoided the ones in your list at first but eventually found that no combination of channel/CC number worked well except for a short while after changing them. Then it all went slow again. REALLY slow.

Re: Slow reaction from controller?
Yeah, I've checked it out on ableton and it seems fine.
Re: Slow reaction from controller?
ok, just do this, play your controller though an Ableton MIDI track, you will need a virtual MIDI device to connect Ableton to Resolume, then record your performance, then play and check if it behaves the same, then send save and send it to me. gbravetti@gmail.com
