The Dj mode is for clip triggering and alike
While the Effector mode is the midi CC controls - 24 controllers 2 buttons per controller, up and down nudging. Or you can change the value with the rotary. I love the way the value is counted on the buttons.
The drum pad mode is just that.
still haven't figured the Daw mode.

Once drawn, the controller sends Open Sound Control (OSC) messages to anything that can receive them; in this case, a synthesizer running in Pure Data.
