Advanced Output

I am having trouble projection mapping. any help would be great.
I have searched high and low on the forum

I find it very difficult to make good slices because there is no "undo" nor can you add or remove a marker / point. (green dot ) you can add points but it adds multiple ones around the object. you can not just click an area and it adds or removes a point like it does in the crop section.

This is what I did, please let me know if there is a simpler or better way .

First I hung all my stretch screens and custom built items to be projected on
I then turned on the test card and went to advanced out put
I created Crops for each screen and item
I then created slices for each item and tried my best to make them fit well.
then I set some slices to Layer 1, some to layer 2 and so on.
I then spent a VERY long time trying to get the slices and the crops in the correct order so they all display correctly.

A step by step tutorial would be a God send.
If one could add and remove points just like you can in the "Crop" tab. I would have no problems and I would not have to have everything in the perfect layer order ( bring to Front , bring to back )

If I need to get a third party plug in that is fine. but I read that with 4.12 there is no need to have a plug in like Ir mapio or mad mapper

Thank you

We have a 'mapping-basics' tutorial:

If you move further than the basics, every mapping job will be different, so we cannot provide a 'one-size-fits-all' tutorial. Sometimes you do just have to bite down and do the work. This can be frustrating, but is also why mapping is an art-form and a skill (which in turn should translate to higher budgets).

One tip that might help you though is that you can drag slices to change their order.

I am facing an issue in the Advanced Output too. For some strange reason in the INPUT SELECTION window, in Slice, there is no option that allows me to select the Input Source, as is shown in the video. Could someone help me out here??

Have attached a screenshot of what options are available. How do i get the Input Source option?!
