I've got a couple of ideas for furthering the functionality of the Advanced Output. Some may seem simple but would help me in my corporate events.
1. Be able to assign an output as program, preview, or split program preview. I have this type of thing
2. Be able to overlay count down timecode from a clip on a output.
The concept would be as follows. Assign an output that show the program preview with timecode and da that signal to the lighting op, audio op, director etc. That way everyone could see where we are in script and what's coming up next. The count down would allow the lighting op to see when the lights are to come back up after a video roll.
Don't get me wrong all of this is currently done with intercom, but often video village is back stage, in the hall, outside. Not necessarily at FOH. DAing my control screen would work, that's just going to be to much info.
