It would be great if I could make any clip loop.
Right now I do this in Final Cut.
Split clip in half
Swap the front and back clips with each other
cross the centre
It would rock if this could be coded into resolume

you mean something like auto transistion?
there is only the auto transistion on layers... but you can't get the result you are talking about right now...
it was already requested i think 2 years ago

you could use autopilot and transitions to work around the issue in this way:
create two instances of the clip in same layer, in columns next to each other. set the autopilot of the first (leftmost) clip to 'play next', and that of the second (rightmost) to 'play previous'. set the layer transition as desired (LIA is a good place to start maybe), set the transition time slider as desired, and finally trigger either instance of the clip. from the manual:
"
Tip! This way you can keep switching automatically between two clips, keeping your hands free to improvise on the other layers, or wave to your parents."
NOTE: this will prevent autopilot from 'autopiloting' through the remainder of the layer. if you have many clips you would like to use this workflow with, perhaps you should create a dedicated layer for them, and just remember that you will need to manually select which pair you want to be active. alternately, maybe you could prepare your clips ahead of time in the way you want them (what, you want all the work done for you?!?)
