Hi
I want to use Resolume to run one [maybe two if i can split the output from a laptop] small projectors just small ones that ppl have in their home not a large one's that ppl have in their homes small

So what pc resources get used most is it CPU or GPU RAM ?

i've tryed a few simple things using resolume on a dual core 3GHZ with an old 8800GTX and that seemed to work ok on a monitor :-) would splitting the VGA out and using two small projectors increase the load if so what ?

cheer's

Splitting the VGA to get two identical outputs would be no different than having one VGA out.

Now if you want to split your VGA into two different outputs you'll want to use a Matrox DH2G such as this one (http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/produ ... o/digital/) and these adapters should work no problems.

OK thank's that's great so 1x projector will use no more resources than 1 x monitor and 2 x projector linked to that box will use no more resources than one projector

so resolume will see that box as just one output to play a clip onto yeah ?

so does Resolume use high GPU power ?

Yes if you use a 1x2 VGA splitter/amp.

Resolume will use your GPU if you convert your media to DXV but it will use CPU if you don't and it's 32-bit software so you need to take a look at all the posts that cover these issues and you'll be set.
