Hi,
I want to crop my live input into a simple round soft circle.
The only close way is the vignette but its elliptical and not round.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

If you want something like this:
Create in a top layer at 100% Add, in a clipchoose a Solid Color as a source (Green for instance), render it square (render width = render height = the largest dimension of your comp), add a Vignette effect, select the roundness etc..., select Black BG in the vignette, add a Chroma Key effect and and cancel the green from your Solid Color. Now you should be able to see everything in your bottom layers through the round hole.

then do the same vignetting with an empty clip, make a screenshot of it w control+shift+p and use that png as a mask inverted for the clip.

Create an image mask in Photoshop.
Apply that mask to the top layer panel.
Done.

Circular png (feathered) as a mask on layer above. Layer(s) below as normal.
