Can't really duplicate this when I want to, just happens randomly every now and then.
Couple of hours into show, switch decks and all of my direct show sources just vanish and any clip that was loaded goes black. The clips will still be present on the deck, but won't work because the capture devices have disappeared. Switching decks won't fix it, only a restart will
Spout and Datapath Vision are the only sources I use.

Re: Disappearing DirectShow Sources
It's annoying that the Sources disappear like that.
Saving the composition forces a refresh of all connected devices, so if the input is correctly connected, it should pop back up when you hit CTRL-s

Have not tried that yet, I will have to remember this and get back with a result. I couldn't reproduce it at all this weekend, maybe next week!
Re: Disappearing DirectShow Sources
Just to be clear, I'm not sure if that will automagically start the input again. But at least it should appear again in the Sources list.

Re: Disappearing DirectShow Sources
That kind of works.
I finally ran across the problem the last 30 minutes today. Switched to a deck and my 2 SDI sources went missing, but DVI and Spout stuck around. I saved, then DVI disappeared. Switched to another deck and saved again, SDI 1 showed back up. Saved again and it disappeared. Spout stayed working the whole time.
