Resolume freezes

Post by ASP1978 »

Hi everyone
I have a Resolume Arena5 running on Windows10 and I usually leave the computer on during the night.
Few times in the mornings, I have found the Arena5 not responding and the computer freeze to a point where I have to press the power button to turn it off and on again!
Today I found this messages -
Arena.exe has stop working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

and another message on the bottom of the screen in red fonts saying-

LOW MEMORY!

Any help will be appreciated!

You may have too many large PNGs or non-DXV movies in your deck.

Thank you for your response
How big should the files be in order for this problem to stop?

There really depends on your system so it's hard to say. But if you're getting the low memory warning, that means you decks are too big! In an ideal world you would want all your files to be in DXV formateven your photos. If you search through this for him you will find a few threads on one-frame DXV files. are you using any ProRes 4444 files?

I am converting all files into mov with DXV Codex but not the photo images.
I haven't used any Pro res 4444 files and no idea what that is honestly!

Resolution is 1080p and they are displayed at the same size in three different outputs from the graphic card.
