Hi guys,
is it possible to apply your effects composition to unique layer output? i mean.. in my output setup i have 2 slice in my screen setup..the first slice is assigned to Composition and the other slice is assigned to layer 1.. but i would like to have the same effect applied on the layer 1 output too..
is there's a way to do it? Or any suggestions..
thanks in advance

if you apply the effect only to the layer it will be visible in the composition too.

You could do the following:
- - add a layer with a layer router between your two layers which will be now Layer 2
- set the layer router to Input = Layer 1
- if you trigger your clips using column triggers, make sure you set Layer 2 to Ignore Column Trigger
- turn the opacity of Layer 2 to 0
- apply the desired effect(s) to the layer router or Layer 2
- go to advanced output and set your slice to Input Source = Layer 2
- uncheck Input Opacity

Or you could let us know what you want to achieve. More often than not, there are a lot of other ways to achieve what you want without the need for layer routing.
That way we can try to solve your actual problem, instead of trying to achieve what you think is the solution

Thanks guys for your reply!
Here's my situation and things i want to do:
I have to surface to project with 1 projector (Main screen behind the band, and one screen above the stage)
I have a composition with 3 layers:
Layer 1: All my ''add-on'' texture video (to put on top of my ''main'' video.
Layer 2: All my main video for the show (song by song)
Layer 3: Diffenrent logo for each song
I want to project Layer 1-2 to the main screen behind the band, and layer 3 to the screen above the stage.
So the plan is to (in advanced output) add two slices, slice 1 for composition (result of layer 1-2)
and slice 2 for layer 3.
Until now everthings seem good and easy to do!
But the thing is,
I have a bunch of effects in the composition panel..
All the effects works only on the slice 1 which's assigned to composition and i don't have effects on my slice 2 which's assigned to layer 3..so that's normal..
But i'm looking to find a way to be able to apply effects to all layer,slice..
The way i found to do it is to add the same effects on each layer panel and i assigned the same ''key mapping'' on the same ''effects'' .. example: Colorize effects red is assigned to ''A'' on my keyboard for all the layer..so i don't use effects in compositions panel anymore..
Hope i'm clear!

Apparently I'm old fashioned for using this technique, but I would just
- make my comp twice as high (1280x1440)
- position layer 1 and 2 in the bottom half (Position Y: 360)
- position layer 3 in the top half (Position Y: -360)
Then slice that up in the advanced output with just two slices, both set to comp input.
Bonus advantages:
- add as many layers as you want without needing extra slices
- your preview looks like your stage
- you can have another layer cover both screens, for instace to give both stage and DJ name a single background or overlay
