HDMI to SDI, SDI to HDMI in WXGA

Hi !

I know that a WXGA (1280x800) (16:10 format) is possible over SDI, but not SMPTE-compliant. I would like to know if anyone tested ANY converter that would work with this resolution. I guess BlackMagic Design converter won't work since they tend to be SMPTE-compliant only devices.

Thank you !

Hi WSimard! Did you try out the Roland VC-1, or find a device to do it? I need to send WXGA over SDI as well, just not seeing a lot of options to do it.
