I am a new user but I am starting a week long AV residency tomorrow with my band. We are using a set up with Ableton live on one mac midi linked to our Resolume mac. Having great fun building videos and visuals for all our songs.
One issue that I cannot seem to figure out is if I can keep columns specific to decks. Each song has its own specific deck, which keeps things nice and straight forward for us in terms of clips being organised. We have one octave of midi notes dedicated to changing decks, then inside each deck the clips can be triggered with 3 dedicated octaves, we can use the same octaves for different decks as they are deck specific. However, it doesn't seem to matter if I use the application or composition map in either layer or deck specific mode, a midi note assigned to trigger a column is applied to all decks. Am I missing something? Can I have it so that when I change decks the column mappings can be changed?
