BEST replacement for OHM RGB

I am currently running Resolume with my Ohm RGB but the controller is slowly starting to fall apart from playing dusty and sweaty clubs. So, I am looking for a replacement controller similar to the Ohm RGB slim that is more or less a plug and play device for Resolume.
I have run into some difficulty with getting light responses on the pads that I trigger on the controller and mostly work blind when triggering clips. I need to find something that automatically maps out resolume to the controller and is super user friendly. I am not a very technical guy so I dont want to have to install scripts and use confusing midi editors to achieve a workable surface. The amount of buttons and knobs on the ohm is ideal so finding something with a similar pad grid and sliders is essential.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

If you really like the OHM RGB and you don't want to have to program your next controller, my recommendation would be to get another used one!

Otherwise, the Akai APC40 MKii seems to be a favorite for a lot of people.

The Midifighter controllers could also be great especially now that they've released the 64 but they might require some tweaking in the interface to adjust the settings.

Thanks for the advice. I will check out the Akai - I have heard people recommending it before.
