https://resolume.com/support/en/midi-shortcuts
Set up midi input in preferences, to receive input from the device you send your notes to in ProTools.
Then go to Shortcuts,
Create a new shortcut preset in the Shortcuts panel's dropdown.
Click on the clip you'd like to map, and send a note from ProTools,
click on the next clip you'd like to map, and send a different note from ProTools.
Repeat for as many clips as you'd like with different notes.
Exit mapping save composition.
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch

And if you manually want to assign a note, go into Shortcut mode, right-click on the clip and select Create MIDI Note shortcut.
