SMS to Flash

Hello,

i build a little SMS -> Resolume solution.

At the moment i use a gms/gprs siemens s55 cellphone , which is connectet to the pc.
The SMS then will be stored in a mysql-database.

( i use this db cause i want to select / change / bann some messages )

In resolume i open a little swf-file which also gets the data from an php script. It is just a litte scrooling ticker.

Is anybody intrested to help me developing this system ?

Realy cool would be if anybody can write a freeframe-plugin.

WOW! i would love to help, but unfortuneatly i just cannot code! i hope, there will be a beta release soon!

FRONTLINE MEDIA have already developed a similar tool for nokia handys! maybe u want to check it out...

Hello Randel, thanx for your answer.

i allready have a working version.
the problem is that i can write php, but flash (actionscript) is nothing for me.
Perhaps you can help me with this. I'll build a little package with all needet software and post the url here.

Very cool indeed! I am looking for such a tool for sms and it would be great if it will be a plugin also. Contact the known plugin developers like inside-us-all or syzygy they can certainly help you further in developing a plugin. Keep us posted!

i allready know frontline ... they allso provide to download a sm-stool ( senseless stuff without their system )

i want to have a scale-able and manufacutre independet system.
i really love open-source systems ,i allready use it in my php-projects , because inventing the wheel twice is senceless, only whern there is no other way i use closed-source-software.

( i don't whant to have an discusion about closed <-> open , everything has its benefits )

Imo an open standart is the best thing for such a "tool" , i'm allready playing around with a linux-gateway to recieve the sms/mms.
A little 486pc with small hdd/ram is quite enought for handling all this sms/mms stuff, cause all the "rendering" and gfx-stuff will be done by the "client".

And even if a comercial sms-gateway-provider is used ever thing whill be possible, cause what you do with the date stored in the database depends on the php-script ( maybe other languages. )

Today i build a nice system for a user-terminal where the people can enter messages. on this pc also a "webcam"-software is running,so that we can use the picture of the person which send the message.
( it writes the messages into the same db i use 4 the sms-messages )

Well i'm a littlebit drunken at the moment, i better have to shut up an do my work.

i had a look at your site, are we supposed to find a download there?
Did you upload a demo of your tool there?

ohh...and yes you allready asked if i could help you with the freeframe sms plugin, if you could send me an email with the things it should be able to do if will have a look.
