Here's an idea for a new feature:

When a MIDI note is pressed, trigger the attached clip. If another MIDI note comes in without the Note Off message for the previous one, then add the assigned clip to the next available slot. ie. if two keys are pressed at once, stack up the clips, don't replace them.

Kind of like chords for video.

there are a couple of problems with this approach, what if you have layer 3 active, you press a note (do,nt let go) and press an second, in what layer should that second clip go? the bottom? that would give unpredicted results ... let me know what your thoughts are on this ...
