What version of flash are you using? That might be the problem at a guess.

This bug is already being discussed in this forum. This seems to happen to only a minority of all resolume users.
Unfortunately i'm one of those:

The Analyzer simply freezes.
Could it be a bug with the flash variables? Cause i was using
RAudioXXX too.

Is there any hope to get this a matter of bugfixing?? Bart, Edwin?

A little workaround

By coincident i found a little workaround.
When the audio analyzer stops working, go to preferences, select a different audio-source (you should have at least 2 sources: your audio-driver and windows pimary input) select the other one, click ok, than select your input again. Voila, the audioanalyzer works again (until next crash).

After some more intense testing i can definitely say:

I now have this bug in older Resolume versions too. But i don't remember having experienced this bug when i was using Resolume 2.2 . In that time i used Flash pro 7.01.
So the bug might depend on Flash8 or - as Orjo wrote - the bug happend since Flash professional 7.2.

Does that make sense?

The new flash player has been doing lots of funny things to resolume, I had to republish my swfs again as flash 6 or 7 (even if they were already which is strange) after installing the new player and Studio 8. Not sure if that's a universal solution though. No probs since.
