Laggy Resolume

hello all,
i am running resolume arena 7 on a mac pro 15 inch 2013, macOS High sierra
resolume is very laggy, and when i play videos they are not smooth...
but when i minimize resolume and the video is still playing on the projector output it becomes smooth.

before i activated resolume i used the trial arena version and everything was fine.

Which macbook do you have, does it have dedicated graphics?

If you unregister Resolume when it starts to lag, does the lag disappear?
