Soft Edge with dark media with Epson Projectors

Hello everyone,

There's a projector that I love to use. It's Epson EB-U42.

The image is really beautiful. It's 3LCD technology.

Butt unfortunately there's one big issue that I cannot solve.

On dark images, the soft edge gets very bad, the light gets marked on overlap.

I have tried everything but cannot solve.

Does anybody have an ideia to avoid that?

LCD Projectors dont have such a good black then dlp machines.... so when there should be 0 light coming out an touching the surface a lcd picture is grey.... this grey cant be changed becouse its the system of the lcd projector....

when its not softedge this grey dubbles and can be worse.


sry cant help you, only solution would be make the rest of the room brighter or use different machines
