I suggest supporting "Transport Position" in Source clips (like there is in Video clips)
I see no reason why they shouldn't have it, they have a duration.
It should be exactly the same as Video clips, with also the:
- Pause / Play / Play Backwards
- Loop/Bounce/Random/...
These are relevant when there are animated params with "Clip Position" binding.
Use Cases
[1] Key Framing: When animating multiple parameters with "Clip Position" binding. It is needed to move all parameters "time" to a given key-frame time, and then edit the params' values at that key-frame. This is done best by moving the clip position (like with video clips).
[2] Pause Animation: Also with "Clip Position" (In source Clips) it is impossible to stop the animation (for editing purposes), which is very annoying.
[3] One Shot: A One Shot animation that holds or clears at the end.
