another question. hopefully,i will get an answer to that one:
i tried to use the endlessknobs of the pocket dial in resolume, but i didn't manage to get it to work properly...
when using the 'fixed' setting in the midi preferences, the parameters jump to the value the MIDIcontroller is sending. so if one knob, (eg. for the opacity of the active layer) is set to 50% and i switch to another layer, then the parameter (opacity) of that new layer jumps to the old value (50%) instantly - not pretty.
when i use the 'endless' setting, there are no parameter jumps, but usually the range of the controller ends befor reaching the minimum/maximum value in resolume!

how can i configure endless knobs to work properly in resolume?
is there a way to do this without midifeedback of the software?
anyone using endless encoders here and can help?

thx in advance.

hi,
i use a pocket dail and a pocket fader,
jumper 1 and 4 on. i use the 1, 2, 3 bank for each layer and the 4th bank for "active layer". for the knobs i have alpha, speed, audio-gain, in and out, playhead and the effects parameters. this way you can use all the settings for the active layer and active effect slot, and you can also switch to an other layer whith the bank select, so you can keep a different layer active.
but i also can't get the endless rotator thing fixed... that is a little shitty, with the normal controller mode it gets jumpy offcource and when i choose endless, it seems like i can only controll half of the parameter...
but anyway, a nice midicontroller, very very solid and the price is right.
i hope somebody knows how to fix the problem...

thx for the reply, mate! i will try your jumper settings...
i guess, or i hope, that our problem will be solved with the next release of resolume (midi out is the word). with feedback from resolume, it shouldn't be difficult to get it working...

just thought, their might be another way... in the pocket dial's manual is a paragraph about increment/decrement signals... didn't work out either....

anyone else has some experience with that problem?

Is it possible to route the midi signal through loopback software like midiyoke and manually adjust it's range there?

I know that's not really what it's for but you could try

I also saw it has it's own software for presets etc downloadable from the website did you try that?
