Is there way to convert hdr video with alley?

What are you outputting to? I've yet to see a LED wall or projector use HDR. I know some can do it, I just haven't seen anyone doing it yet. If your output screen isn't HDR, I wouldn't be trying to process HDR videos (the point I was trying to make lol)

hdr is actually quite interesting for some effects even if the display cant show it. For example if you have two white lines overlapping, then a bloom effect could show the overlap to be extra bright (wider blur) when compared to the lines themselves.
The Resolume graphics pipeline does not support hdr so alley doesn't either. Out of curiosity, what kind of file format / codec are you using?

Though my display can't reproduce HDR video, MPC uses LUT to convert it from HDR to Rec.709 colorspace (I think), so I see bright colors even on non-hdr display.

Resolume does support 16bpc processing, which is not exactly HDR per se, but has the scope for processing HDR-like content.
I am actually very interested in using high bit-depth content for effects that would be like live colour grading. I've often been disappointed by trying to use things like Chromakey ,or when pumping brightness and contrast really shows up various artefacts and limitations of 8bpc source material.

Agreed. There are some models of HDR video walls on the market now. And certainly there are HDR TVs which can be used for small scale applications.
The current 16bpc is for internal processing only. If Resolume beat out Isadora, Watchout, etc to be the first system to implement an HDR pipeline that would be a big win.

I work with HDR content a lot more now, and the difference in picture quality is outstanding however I can only do it with After Effects projects and never live! Being able to output an HDR10 signal would be good futureproofing as more projectors start supporting it!
