clip cutting

not a bug sorry, but i couldnt find a place to ask this in:

how do you guys cut bigger movies/clips into smaller ones? i know there is premiere or so, but it cant export multiple clips in 1 go. i imagined a small software where you can precisely set in and out points (with keyboard shortcuts too (arrows, shift-arrows), and exports all small clips in 1 go so i can leave my pc alone for that time, and get 47 small clips taken out of matrix 4 :D

Hi Emx,
maybe virtualdub can do the job.
It supports scripting as well, so if it's not in it you can script it (or find someone else to do that)

there is also the batch assistant for virtualdub, i havent used it but im sure it would do what you want it to.
