Connectspecificclip DMX map/control

I am trying to map the 'connect specific clip' parameter to dmx on a MA2. I have 32 columns but when I turn the encoder wheel on the MA the clip selected is erratic and can never return back to the first clip in that layer. Has anyone else had this issue?

Set your encoder to ultra fine. Also as you add more columns, your float recall will change, so I typically keep 512 columns even if they're not all in use to help with this. Then just create presets for cuestacks and things should recall nicely.

Thank you that worked just like it needs to.
I am having an issue trying to select decks via DMX, I have tried patching each deck with the same DMX but using a different range for each deck but Resolume does not store the dmx range for each. Am I approaching this all wrong?

So stripped everything back to a single dimmer channel on MA & Resolume and set the dmx range for ch 1 on each of the decks but as you will in the attached video, the selection just bounces between deck 1 and 2 ?

I set range of 1-5 (which is actually range 1-13, because Arena sets a range of 1-100 but DMX is 1-255) and then I set my last deck to range 95-100 (which is actually range 242-255) so I used a single channel and used ranges for the switching.
But of course you can always just map the > next to the deck selection and get the same results as you do when mapping a layer clip selection.
