System time to string

Post by Sjan Top »

I had a problem creating a clean string from the System Time node.
This because the minutes don't have 0 in frond of the digits, so 1 t/m 9 give a strange format, 21:9 ect.

So to combat this i divide by 100 converted to string space and Replaces the 0. with noting.

I needed a clean time string to comparer against a given time from the Dashboard.
The Auto Artiest patch changes the Text on a given system time. It was a fun idea but i don't think i'am going to use it. So maybe some one want to play with it.
I don't know how the logic react on a switch from 2359 to 0000

Have fun!

Maybe not exactly what you were asking but here is an example how I did get a clean string with leading zeros from the system time, of course you can also leave the separator in the merge-node empty to get 230407 instead of 23:04:07 as a string:

Smart way of solving it!
My solution was dividing the minutes by 100 and then removing the 0,
