input patch for the capture cards

It's possible to have something like an input patch for the capture cards or other inputs?, for example if I have a capture card in my show and i use it on different columns different effects etc, but i i have a problem with this input and i need to switch to other capture card or a ndi input for example change the input patch could be an option to change the input in all the clips in one time and I don't need to change one by one. I'm not sure if I am explain well.

You could just use one (or more) camera inputs on a layer, trigger input then optionally lock the layer, then use video router sources set to the camera input layer as your clip for fx etc. That way you can just re-add your input before a show and all the routers automagically work.

Yeah ^, Have 1 layer as your switcher with various inputs, then above that layer have your normal comp. Use Video Router specified to the first layer and then add your FX on that. Change source layer if something is wrong.
