I need help. Just upgraded my servers and it seems like performance is worse.
Here is what I upgraded
Gigabyte 390 AORUS PRO ---------------- Asus Prime X670E-PRO
Intel Core i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8-Core ---- AMD Ryzen 57600X 4.6 Ghz 6-Core
Quadro RTX 5000 -------------------------- Quadro RTX A6000
64GB 2600HZ Ram ------------------------ 64GB 6000HZ Ram
Just ran a show with 9 Zones over 2 servers synced with OSC using Companion. Works great.
But my main server which was outputting 2-2K and a 4K output. Seemed very laggy at times and froze, where the display monitors and the timeline just stopped for about 2 seconds. This is terrifying because im running content over 2 servers and luckily this didnt happen when im running like a winner sequence where it has to be perfectly synced. Im still on Windows 10 Pro. I have another show in 2 weeks im thinking of going to Windows 11 pro. Anyone experience anything like this. Ive always trusted Resolume as a playback system but this has shaken my confidence a little bit. I also had a Lumiverse in the output section but it was off at the time.
Upgraded server -- Resolume froze playback for a second
Re: Upgraded server -- Resolume froze playback for a second
Could have been a background task like the defender doing a virus scan, or files syncing to onedrive.
CPU throttling can also cause weird lags sometimes, maybe some cores go to power save.
Also make sure there is no OSC feedback going back to your app, which could update values in Resolume, which could then go back.

Does a guide exist on how to tweak Windows settings to maximize Resolume performance? I feel like my CPU is being throttled by something, I just dont know what that is. Only OSC input is enabled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For Resolume, the GPU is more relevant.
GPU and windowsm power profiles should be set to high performance, disk, usb and device sleep disabled, foreground apps prioritized.
