Hi,
I've had an issue a few times recently where an audio file (.wav) that I've loaded into Resolume has abruptly stopped playing part way through the track.
On futher inspection it turns out that the "Duration" value in resolume is much shorter than the actual file length - see the screenshot below where the song is 3m52s, so 232 seconds, but the duration is set to 155 seconds. You can see in the screenshot that Resolume is aware of the full length of the track.
As far as I'm' aware I haven't done anything that would change this value after loading the clip in.
The green handles on either end of the track are fully extended, so the only way I can extend that Duration value is by manually typing a longer duration in. I can't see any way of resetting it to the actual length of the track.
I'm using version 7.18.2 on Windows 10
Can anybody explain why this happens, and how it can be avoided? Or is it a bug?
Any help much appreciated!
Phil
Duration not matching clip length
Re: Duration not matching clip length
Tiping a different duration will slow down or speed up the clip, not trimming the clip itself.
What happend is you right click on the plus or minus button near the editable duration (right click should set back the default values)
1) have you tried to load the clip in a blank new composition?
2) I would also try to convert (or better, passthrought the file with a software like adapter, mainteining the same specs, just to check)
